10 best wedding movies

10. The Office: Jim & Pam’s wedding in Niagra Falls.

Ok, so this is kind of cheating, because obviously The Office isn’t a movie!

But this scene where Jim and Pam sneak off to be married under the waterfall us basically just the cutest thing ever, too iconic not too include!

9. My Best Friend’s Wedding

Dermot, Cameron…Julia! The whole team is here for a feelgood flick with all the quintessential 90’s trimmings we could want! This movie taught us all not to let love pass us by. Oh, and that Julia’s effortless mane of mahogany curls was the look we all wanted to emulate for years to come.

4. The Wedding Singer

Adam Sandler as Robbie Hart, steals all of our hearts and Julia’s (a.k.a Drew Barrymoore) to boot. Saving her from an almost-sealed fate of becoming Julia…Goolia.
This scene, when Robbie surprises Julia with song on the plane: ICONIC.
(extra points to Billy Idol for being a badass air steward, so that Robbie could continue his serenade.)

2. Love Actually

British accents, Hugh Grant as Prime Minister, true love stories and THIS wedding scene. Pop-up musical instruments in a ceremony, that inspired re-creations in weddings all over the world. Beautiful. Love-filled. Poignant and sometimes heartbreaking. What a well deserving #2 spot!

1.About Time

I remember watching this movie for the first time year ago, having no prior idea of what it was about. After I finished I immediately decided it was one of the best movies I had ever seen.
Powerful and moving, this slight underdog of a movie is perhaps not what people may have expected as the number one choice, but that’s exactly why I love it so much.
